Kevin J Martin: Founder, Austech Consulting Inc.
Kevin Martin, a visionary entrepreneur and technology innovator, hails from the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia. With an unwavering passion for technology and an insatiable drive for innovation, Kevin has left an indelible mark on the Industrial Market through his groundbreaking ventures and entrepreneurial endeavors.
Kevin's journey into the world of industry began with a hands-on 4-year trade apprenticeship in Fitting and Machining after graduating from high school. Eager to further his knowledge and skills, he embarked on the path of higher education while working full-time and raising a family with his wife, Miriam. Over the course of five years, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a testament to his dedication and tenacity.
Kevin's career took off when he joined SKF Australia as an Application Engineer. In a remarkable trajectory, he swiftly climbed the ranks and, in less than five years, relocated with his family to Seoul, South Korea, to manage the industrial aftermarket operations of SKF Korea. Another five years later, he moved to the Philadelphia area in the United States, assuming the role of Global Strategic Marketing Manager for SKF USA Inc., with responsibilities spanning the Metals, Hydrocarbon Processing (HPI), Upstream Oil & Gas, and Mining Industrial Segments.
During his tenure with SKF, Kevin's innovative spirit shone brightly as he was awarded four U.S. Patents for various industrial applications, a testament to his ingenuity and problem-solving prowess.
After a successful career with SKF USA, Kevin retired to chart his own entrepreneurial path. In 2022, he founded AusTech Consulting Inc., headquartered in Doylestown, PA. In a competitive market, AusTech Consulting stands as a beacon of innovation and customer-centric solutions. With over 32 years of industrial experience in a global environment, Kevin and his team are dedicated to delivering customer value through application insights and engineered solutions, fostering business development, growth strategies, and technology deployment.
Beyond the corporate world, Kevin is a talented musician, contributing his gifts to support his local church worship team. He possesses an extensive collection of electric guitars, including Fenders, PRS, and Ironside Custom models, reflecting his creativity and innovation that seamlessly transcend into his business life.
Additionally, Kevin indulges in his passion for mid-'60s American Muscle Cars, with a collection that started with a 1969 Corvette Convertible boasting a powerful 427 cubic inch big block, Tri Power engine producing 400HP. His collections future aspirations include iconic classics like the 1966 Mustang GT Fastback, 1969 Z/28 Camaro, and the iconic 1978 Pontiac Trans Am Bandit Car, all of which exemplify his love for big power and performance.
In 2020, Kevin and his family proudly became U.S. Citizens, solidifying their commitment to serve and be part of their community in this great country.
